Pierre Alsint

Greetings I am Pierre Alsint, a fourth year Business Administration student from Tampa, Florida. In Tampa, football was the go to sport for many Carribean children to stay out of trouble. However, my passion for sports didn’t stop there; I went on to compete in Track & Field and Basketball, these sports led me to be more open minded about athletics.

My passion for fitness stems from my athletic background of playing football since I was about 10 years old. My weight lifting journey began when my mother purchased a weight set at the age of 12 years old. Since then I fell in love with becoming

CEO of Better Performance Fitness, along with that I am an aspiring Serial Entrepreneur. PREZZURE APPLIED WASH DETAILING SHOP, BZBZMOKE EXOTIC HOOKAH RENTALS.

I, like many Caribbean students that attend FAMU, have many things riding on our backs to get a degree and to become the breadwinner. Many times this can be a very heavy weight for many to carry . As I like to call it being the “CHOSEN ONE”, the Lord has chosen you to make the life changing decisions that break not only financial but generational curses within your family.

I AM THE CHOSEN ONE, that will do just that but I wouldn’t be able to if I didn’t OUT WORK everyday up until this point so on and so forth. The word “OUT WORK '' isn't just an expression for the gym, “We don’t work out, we OUT WORK '' applies to every area of our lives, not just physical fitness. No matter who you are, no matter your goals in life, if you are willing to OUT WORK the obstacles in front of you, you will succeed. This taught me that even if your opponent is faster, and stronger but your work ethic will OUT WORK any competition set in front of you.

Growing up in a large Haitian household plays an amazing part of who I am today. I carry characteristics of all my siblings and family members, taking these same attributes  and carrying them out to the world. Culture was complex to those who couldn't understand such as my peers and even elders who didn’t know what it meant to be Caribbean . My mother has always instilled in all of her children that we lean toward each in times of hardship. No matter what we've gone through from the time I was born up until now we've handled it as a family.  As I moved away from home for college I had to find another way to handle my hardships and I found that love within the gym. This led me to meeting my brother Bryan Squires and this is where the OUT Work dream began.
